When the Lamp Lights Up

I put a few small line drawings onto a lamp.

I put a few small line drawings onto a lamp. A vase, some fruit, a plant, a wine bottle — all very ordinary things.

I wasn't thinking much when I drew them; that day there was paper at hand, and a little time to spare. Later the lamp lit up, and there they quietly were.

Once a drawing leaves the paper, it doesn't have to become anything. To keep life company for one evening is already enough.
